I don't think I'm a dog? (I don't think, I'm a dog!)

Golf season has ended and now Greta can walk on the golf course.  Besides the exercise of walking on the golf course, Greta finds many tasty grass plugs and divots to snack on along the course.  On this rainy morning, she walked 3 holes (10th, 11th, and 12th) that are part of nearly every morning walk.
10th Hole Looking from the Green Toward the Tee

The 10th hole is 416 yards from the black tee to the pin.  Greta normally passes this hole on her long walk.  In the early morning, it is a very beautiful and tranquil place to paws, so it puts Greta  in a meditative mood.  Greta will sometimes see deer standing on the right side of this picture near the first set of trees.  This is one of her favorite holes, so during golf season, she does not understand why she can't walk on the fairway.

11th Hole Looking from the Black Tee Box to the Dog Leg
The 11th hole is a 545 yard hole.  Greta is seen here contemplating the 300 yards she will have to walk to get to the bend of the dog leg.

Having made it to the center of the bend in the dog leg of the 11th hole, Greta needs to decide if she will go straight for another 250 yards to the hole or will she be distracted and go right.  This hole often distracts her because deer often spend the night on the edge of the woods to the right.  We humans might search the area on the right for lost golf balls, but Greta searches for deer chocolate milk balls.

12th Hole - Close to Home
Greta is contemplating how she will play on the 471 yard 12th hole.  This is the hole that she is most familiar with as it is closest to her home.  When she awakes and goes for her early morning walk, she makes this her first stop.  She will also spend time on this hole on stormy days where she only goes for short walks.  Lastly, in the winter, she often walks from this hole to the 13th hole and then up to the post office for the mail.  This hole is much more fun when there is snow on the ground.  Besides eating the snow, she loves to roll in the snow.  "Greta, no digging in the sand trap!"

  1. How often does Greta find those deer chocolate milk balls? -I'll have to remember this the next time I visit and when Greta tries to lick my face.
